What is unique about the Awestomy Active wrap?

Each person's body is not the same and the same is true for every Ostomate. Awestomy Active wraps were designed for optimal flexibility, adaptability, concealment, and comfort. Whether your stoma is high or low, your bag vertical or horizontal, we offer one wrap based on the size of your waist which is adjustable and contains two inner pocket to support both left or right stoma or double stoma placement. Our fabric contains FUZE, which is anti-microbial, absorbs moisture, prevents leaks, reduces odor, keeps you cool or warm as needed and helps prevent chaffing and skin irritations.

 

 

How does Awestomy Active allow me to adjust the wrap?

The Awestomy Active Wraps are designed for a variety of lifestyles and activities. Each wrap—Light Compression and Moderate Compression- has three VELCRO® strips in the back that allows the Ostomate to adjust the fit and contains two inner poackets for left and right stoma placement. We offer two profiles --High Profile and Low Profile. For fuller coverage, more pouch concealment and those who engage in vigorous activity, the High Profile should be considered. For coverage and support of your Ostomy bag, the Low Profile wrap is a good choice.

 

 

How do I know what size and type of Awestomy Active wrap is right for me?

Check the measurement chart to determine the size wrap to order. When you adjust the wrap, you can increase or decrease the wrap by a full size depending on where you place the closure. Whether your stoma is on the right or left or you have double stomas, our two inner pocket fit a right or left stoma placement. Our wrap also helps to contour your waist. If you want a loser fitting for your wrap, order the size that best fits your waste measurements and use the last setting for a loser fitting. If you want a more sleek fitting, use the first attachment. The VELCRO® slots gives you extra flexibility and comfortability in your sizing.

How does my Ostomy bag fit in the Awestomy Active Wrap?

Each Awestomy Active wrap contains two inner pockets to support both right or left stoma or double stomas. Whether your Ostomony bag is vertical or horizontal, we have measured the wrap to fit most Hollister, Coloplast and Convatec bags.

Can I perform my favorite exercise with my Awestomy Active Wrap?

Awestomy Active Wraps are ideal for those who seek an active lifestyle including fitness enthusiasts. Our compression wraps provides maximum protection for weightlifting, running, movement-based fitness, to name a few. See our chart below for more information.

Care

How do I care for my Awestomy Active Wrap?

Protect your Awestomy Active wrap by washing it in our mesh bag that is designed to protect the wrap from other items by preventing snags and getting tangled with other items. 

How long will my wrap last?

We recommend you wear your Awestomy Active wrap daily for maximum protection. With proper care which includes washing the Awestomy Active wrap in our mesh bag, your wrap will last for many years.

Returns & Shipping

Can I return or exchange an item?

All sales are final on Awestomy Active wraps. We will accept returns if the wrap is defective. Please complete the attached form to return your wrap. We accept returns for eligible orders that are damaged that are unwashed, unused, and free from stains, odors or debris. Please note that returns must meet our standards which cannot be modified or adjusted.

For a full exchange, returns should be postmarked within 10 business days from the initial delivery. Orders returned after 30 days may not be accepted, modified or exchanged. In case of any suspected errors with your order, contact our Customer Service before initiating a return.
 

How can I cancel my order?

Please contact our customer service team via info@awestomyactive.com. Providing the cancellation request is submitted within 24 hrs of the order being placed, we may be able to cancel your order before it ships. Cancellations are not guaranteed.

My order has arrived but it’s not as I expected. What can I do?

In the rare event that your order arrives damaged or faulty, please take photos of the product in question and email our customer service team via info@awestomyactive.com with the details. We’ll respond within 48 hours. If you just don’t like the product for any reason, we’ll gladly accept it back as a return, providing it’s in “as new” condition, in its original packaging with all labels attached.
